| A
traditional type of Chinese Tea, literally meaning Black Dragon Tea. It can also be known as Wu-long tea.
The tea is partially fermented and therefore falls in-between Green Tea and Black Tea, because of this, the tea
is also referred to as Blue Tea. Like many other teas Oolong tea is also rich in anti-oxidants. Oolong tea should be brewed in water just below boiling (90°C). The flavours vary from delicate to strong, depending on the degree of fermentation. The tea should be taken without milk or sugar to avoid damaging the natural flavour. |
